Every route we run, and the arithmetic behind it.

Every journey here is a private transfer — one vehicle booked for your party alone, never shared with strangers and never waiting to fill seats. Most transfer companies publish a price and ask you to trust it. We publish the rate card instead: a base fare plus a rate per kilometre, with a minimum fare underneath. Every figure on this page — and on this site — comes out of that one calculation, which means you can check any quote we send before you pay it.

Quick answer

Every Arlanda transfer we run is priced from one rate card: a base fare plus a per-kilometre rate for the distance actually driven, rounded up to the nearest 5 SEK, with a minimum fare per vehicle class underneath. For an Economy sedan that is 255 SEK + 11 SEK per km, floored at 445 SEK. So Sigtuna is 445 (the floor, because it is only 15 km), Kista 585, Solna 620, Stockholm and Uppsala 695, the cruise terminals 750 and Nynäshamn 1 355. Prices are per vehicle, not per person, include tolls, the congestion charge, the Arlanda access charge, parking, waiting time and luggage, and are fixed in writing before you book. There is no surge pricing on any route, on any day.

One calculation, every journey.

This is the whole of our pricing. There is no second card for peak times, no airport premium, and no separate sheet for cruise passengers or corporate accounts.

All figures in SEK, per vehicle, VAT included. Fare = base fare + (per-km rate × kilometres driven), rounded up to the nearest 5 SEK, and never below the minimum fare. Worked example: an Economy sedan to Kista, 30 km, is 255 + (11 × 30) = 585 SEK. Short journeys fall to the floor instead — anything inside about 17 km in an Economy sedan is 445 SEK, which is why Sigtuna, Märsta and the airport hotels all cost the same. A night surcharge may apply between 23:00 and 05:00; child seats, pets in a carrier and extra stops are itemised before you confirm.

1

Distance, not the clock

The rate runs on kilometres driven door to door. Traffic, a delayed flight or a slow baggage belt cannot move the number.

2

Per vehicle, not per head

Four people to Stockholm pay 695 SEK between them. This is why a car beats the train for any group of four or more.

3

A floor, not a surprise

Short runs fall to the minimum fare rather than below what it costs to send a licensed car and driver to a terminal.

4

No surge, on any day

The card does not know whether it is a Saturday in July or a Tuesday in February. Turnaround days and event nights cost the same.

Starting-from prices in SEK, per vehicle, VAT included, in both directions — Arlanda to the destination and back again cost the same, because the distance does not change with direction. Figures assume a standard central address; an outlying one is priced on the same per-kilometre rate and the quote will say so. Sigtuna's whole row is the minimum fare rather than a distance calculation, and Knivsta's Standard and Minibus cells are too — at 20 km the arithmetic still falls through those floors. Anywhere not listed, including Västerås, Enköping, Norrtälje and Södertälje, is quoted on exactly the same card.

Travelling in the other direction, for a flight rather than from one? The prices are identical, but the timing is the hard part — the departure page has a pickup-time table for every hour of the day. Departure timings
03 — Choose your route

Each route has its own page.

Because the honest answer differs by destination. Each page carries the local drive times, the district prices and a plain account of when public transport beats us.

Going somewhere not on the list — Västerås, Enköping, Norrtälje, Södertälje, an archipelago quay? The same rate card applies. Send the address and we will send the figure and the arithmetic behind it. Ask for a quote
04 — What the price covers

The number you see is the number you pay.

Everything below is already inside the quoted fare. The few things that are not are itemised before you confirm, never added afterwards.

✓

Every charge on the road

Tolls, the Stockholm congestion charge where it applies, the Arlanda access charge, parking at the terminal and VAT. Nothing is added at the kerb.

✓

Waiting time

60 minutes from touchdown on Schengen arrivals and 90 minutes on intercontinental. On cruise disembarkation we track the berth instead, because a ship comes ashore by luggage group.

✓

Meeting and luggage

A name board inside the arrivals hall, not a phone call from a car park, and every case carried to the car. Your driver's name, photo and number arrive by message before you land.

✓

Flight tracking

We watch the flight number, so an early landing or a four-hour delay moves the pickup with the aircraft. No rebooking fee for a delay, and no surge pricing.

Outside the quoted fare: a night surcharge may apply between 23:00 and 05:00, and child seats, pets in a carrier and extra stops are chargeable. All of them are shown before you confirm. Skis, golf clubs, instrument cases and pushchairs cost nothing extra but do change which vehicle we send — declare them at booking, because a sedan takes three large cases and no more.

05 — How it works

Four steps, and none of them on the day.

The point of a pre-booked car is that nothing is left to arrange while you are standing in an arrivals hall with your luggage.

1

Send the details

Flight number, destination address, headcount and — the one people forget — the number of large cases. We reply with the exact figure and the vehicle.

2

The price is locked

Confirmed in writing before you travel. It does not move for traffic, for the hour of day, or because it turns out to be a busy Saturday.

3

We track the flight

From the moment you book. Land early or four hours late — the pickup follows the aircraft and you tell us nothing.

4

Met inside the hall

Name board in arrivals at the correct terminal, luggage carried, and door-to-door to the exact address, entrance or quay.

Worth saying plainly

On several of these routes, public transport is the better answer

We would rather tell you than have you find out afterwards, so each route page says so specifically. In short: to Sigtuna, SL buses leave from the terminals and dodge the Arlanda passage fee entirely, so a 43 SEK ticket does it. To Solna, the airport coach stops at Järva krog, Frösunda and Haga Norra for 99 SEK. To Uppsala, the train takes 18 minutes. To Stockholm, the Arlanda Express takes 18. Book us when the arithmetic changes — three or four travellers (our price is per car, theirs is per person), checked luggage, an address away from the station, a night arrival, or a deadline like a sailing that will not wait for you.

06 — Pricing questions

How it all works, answered.

Questions about a specific destination are answered on that route's own page. These are the ones that apply to every journey.

What is a private transfer?
A vehicle booked for your party alone, going directly from your pickup to your destination. It is not shared with other passengers, it does not wait to fill seats, and it does not call at other addresses on the way. That is the difference between a private transfer and an airport shuttle or a coach: you are paying for the vehicle rather than for a seat in it, which is also why the price falls per person as the party grows. Every route on this page is private, and every price is per vehicle.
Do you run shared or shuttle transfers?
No. We only run private transfers, so we do not operate a shared shuttle and we will not put another booking in your vehicle. If a shared service is what you want, the airport coach from Arlanda is the established option and is far cheaper per head for one or two people travelling light. A private car earns its place from about three passengers upward, with checked luggage, with children, at an address away from the centre, or on an arrival late at night.
How is the price of an Arlanda transfer calculated?
One published rate card covers every route. The fare is a base fare plus a per-kilometre rate for the distance actually driven, rounded up to the nearest 5 SEK, with a minimum fare per vehicle class underneath. For an Economy sedan that is 255 SEK plus 11 SEK per kilometre, with a 445 SEK floor. So Kista at 30 km comes to 255 + 330 = 585 SEK, and Stockholm at 40 km to 255 + 440 = 695 SEK. Nothing is negotiated and nothing varies by day of the week, so you can check any quote we send against the arithmetic on this page.
What is the cheapest and the most expensive route?
The cheapest is Sigtuna at 445 SEK in an Economy sedan — and that is the minimum fare rather than a distance calculation, because Arlanda sits inside Sigtuna Municipality and the 15 km drive falls through the floor. The most expensive published route is Nynäshamn at 100 km: 1 355 SEK in an Economy sedan and 4 155 SEK in a fourteen-seat Sprinter. Anything further is quoted on the same card; the practical ceiling is around 15 095 SEK for a Sprinter at roughly 400 km.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle, always. Three people in an Economy sedan to Stockholm pay 695 SEK between them, not each. This is the main reason a private car beats public transport for groups: four adults on the train from Arlanda pay about 190 SEK each, which is 760 SEK — more than the car. It is also why we ask for the number of large cases as well as the number of people, because a sedan takes three large cases and no more, and luggage decides the vehicle more often than headcount does.
What is included in the price?
Tolls, the congestion charge where it applies, the Arlanda access charge, parking, luggage handling, meet and greet inside the arrivals hall, flight tracking, and waiting time — 60 minutes from touchdown on Schengen arrivals and 90 on intercontinental. VAT is included. Outside the quoted price: a possible night surcharge between 23:00 and 05:00, child seats, pets in a carrier and extra stops — all itemised before you confirm rather than added afterwards.
Is there a night surcharge?
A surcharge may apply between 23:00 and 05:00, and it is always shown before you confirm. It is worth knowing on early-departure and late-arrival routes, where a great many pickups fall inside that window. What we do not do is surge pricing: the rate card does not know what day it is, so a cruise turnaround Saturday in July costs exactly the same as a Tuesday in February.
How much waiting time is included?
60 minutes from touchdown on Schengen arrivals and 90 minutes on intercontinental, which covers passport control and the baggage belt comfortably. We track your flight number rather than the clock, so if you land four hours late the pickup moves with the aircraft and there is no rebooking fee. On cruise disembarkation we track the berth instead, because a ship comes ashore by luggage group and a fixed time would be useless.
Which vehicle do I need?
Count the large cases, not the people. An Economy sedan or a Standard Mercedes E-Class takes up to three guests and three large cases. Two people flying home from a two-week cruise with four cases need the six-seat V-Class, not a sedan — and we would rather send it than have you discover the problem at the kerb. The V-Class takes six guests and six cases, the Sprinter fourteen of each, and above fourteen we run a convoy of matched vehicles arriving together. Skis, golf clubs, instrument cases and pushchairs cost nothing extra but change which vehicle we send.
Do you go to places that are not listed here?
Yes. The routes on this page are the ones we publish because they are the ones most often asked for, but the rate card applies everywhere. Västerås, Enköping, Norrtälje, Vallentuna, Södertälje, the archipelago ferry quays and anywhere else in Mälardalen are priced on exactly the same base fare plus per-kilometre rate. Send the address and we will send the figure and the arithmetic behind it the same day.
Do you carry groups?
Up to six guests in a Mercedes V-Class and up to fourteen in a Sprinter minibus, each as a single booking at a single price. Above fourteen we run a convoy of matched vehicles that arrive and depart together — the usual arrangement for conference cohorts, wedding parties and delegations landing on one flight. Because the price is per vehicle, groups get proportionally better value the larger they are: fourteen people to Stockholm in a Sprinter works out at about 143 SEK each.
Do you offer corporate accounts?
Yes. Monthly invoicing with cost-centre and reference-code tagging on every line, a named account contact, priority allocation on repeat routes, and pre-agreed rates for the addresses you use most. Because the rate card is published, an account rate is a stated discount off arithmetic you can already check, rather than an opaque negotiated number that nobody can audit later.
How far in advance should I book?
Twenty-four hours guarantees the vehicle class you want, and the evening before is the sensible habit for an early-morning departure. Book further ahead around the predictable peaks: term start in Uppsala in late August, events at the arena in Solna, wedding season at Steninge and Wenngarn, and cruise turnaround Saturdays through the summer. Same-day requests are taken whenever a car is free; inside a few hours, call dispatch rather than booking online.
